Rebar refers to steel for reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete with a circular cross-section and sometimes a square with rounded corners. Rebar for reinforced concrete refers to the straight or coil-shaped steel used for reinforced concrete reinforcement. Its shape is divided into two types: smooth round steel bar and deformed steel bar, and the delivery state is straight and coiled.

According to the form:

Flexible rebar (ordinary rebar): smooth round rebar, threaded rebar, herringbone rebar;

Stiffening steel bar: a skeleton welded by various types of steel, rails, etc.

According to chemical composition:

Carbon steel bar (low carbon, the carbon content is less than 0.25%; medium carbon, the carbon content is 0.25% to 0.6%; high carbon, the carbon content is more than 0.6%)

Low-alloy steel bars (in low-carbon or medium-carbon steel bars, adding a small amount of silicon, manganese, titanium or rare earth elements)

According to production method:

Hot-worked steel bars: hot-rolled steel bars, heat-treated steel bars

Cold-worked rebar: Cold-drawn rebar.
